Chief Executive Officer
Since 2008, Eric O. Swanson Jr. has served as CEO of DOC. He focuses each day on executing the vision, mission, and strategic direction for the company; investing his energy into the development and leadership of DOC’s executive team. Under his leadership, DOC has consistently evolved to meet the demands of the changing service industry while continually providing its customer’s service excellence. DOC’s success in the midst of change has happened because of Eric’s belief in a simple but powerful business philosophy: achieving the vision starts with the alignment of DOC’s service excellence with its customers’ needs. As a result, building strong personal relationships with each customer is the priority for achieving alignment and success. When the customer wins, DOC wins.
Eric is the proud parent of four children, Kaleigh, Maggie, Oscar, and Charlie. He deeply loves his family and looks for opportunities to bless others by paying it forward. Eric is a US Marine Corps veteran and is active in various charities through DOC’s Blood, Sweat, and Tears initiative. Eric discovered early on as young man a deep passion for helping others while overseas and has utilized this passion since then. Eric has been to other countries where he is able to love and care for others while leaving a positive impact. His greatest legacy is his 4 children.
Chief Development Officer
Philip Blaschke serves as the Divisional President and CDO and has a diverse background representing multiple cultural, educational, and professional experiences. As the Divisional President he manages the national sales team and has full oversight of DOC’s focus to grow a Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration division. He is drawing on his wealth of over 30 years of experience and expertise in client and service management to grow this division successfully and profitably. Phil’s operational engagements include the financial attainment of the company, strategic company development and maintaining DOC’s long term partnerships. As the CDO he continues the development and implementation of the Company’s activities which include marketing events, brand development and trade show management. Phil continues focus on core functions of DOC for its long-term vision and strategy while building upon DOC’s mantra of service excellence.
Phil spent his formative years overseas in West Africa where he developed a deep respect for the diversity of people, cultures, and practices, returning to the United States to complete his educational training. Phil holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Communication and Social Studies from John Brown University. He gives back to his community through various coaching opportunities and actively participates in DOC’s Blood, Sweat, and Tear’s initiatives. He also enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and friends.
Chief Operating Officer
Leah Deason is Chief Operations Officer residing at DOC since 2006. Leah’s management and influence extend in technology, service, parts and field operation teams for operational excellence. With analyzing and interpreting analytics, industry trends, developing new policies and improvement strategy to ensure all initiatives align with the company’s strategic goals, core values and culture. Leah has a degree in Accounting and is certified by RCCSP.
Currently living in Fort Mill, in her spare time she enjoys humanitarian initiatives, travel, golfing, and really loves chasing after her son and being the best mom she can be for him. She also believes in helping her community as an active participant for volunteer opportunities supporting DOC’s Blood, Sweat, and Tears initiatives.
Amanda Edwards serves as Vice President of Human Resources and Legal Affairs at DOC, a position she has held for over ten years. Her areas of expertise include talent management, team building, organizational development, training, leadership, management coaching, employee relations and policy development. Amanda is passionate about attracting, retaining and motivating key talent while supporting DOC’s strategic and company objectives. Amanda is Six Sigma certified, and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Winthrop University.
A wife and mother of two, Amanda is passionate about her marriage, family and animal advocacy. She works with local animal rescue agencies to promote animal adoption, encourage local governments to pass animal friendly laws, and contacts companies to change their practices to benefit animal well-being.
Chief Financial Officer
Courtney Costales serves as DOC’s Chief Financial Officer. Courtney’s background includes over 13 years of Operation Management and Financial experience in both the Manufacturing and Service Industries. Courtney is responsible for the financial leadership of DOC, providing financial reporting, cash management, and long term strategic financial planning. Courtney’s dedication to sound accounting practices and belief in a healthy financial position allows DOC to honor its commitments to its vendors, employees and customers.
Courtney graduated from Presbyterian College with degrees in Business Administration and Spanish. She is an avid traveler and enjoys playing sports and spending time outdoors. She and her husband Luis have two boys, Luis and Eli.
Chief Technology Officer
Micah Chambers serves as DOC's Chief Technology Officer. He is responsible for maintaining all network infrastructure as well as ensuring data is captured and stored efficiently and accurately. Micah has experience in both the service and software industries, working with service companies for 14 years in accounting and IT roles. Previously serving as the controller for DOC Services, Micah has an extensive background in accounting, payroll, and financial reporting. He also served as the company’s IT director where he helped implement new software and hardware solutions as well as overseeing the company's network. Micah has six years’ experience working in the software industry where he gained a fuller understanding of client software transitions and database management, while fostering client relationships. Micah's experience in these fields allows him to focus on providing clients and internal staff with information to answer meaningful business questions.
Micah graduated from Winthrop University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He and his wife Lisa have been married for over 20 years and are the loving owner of two rescue dogs.
